میرے خیال میں ان آیات میں کسی بھی وقت ان ایات کو بیان کرنے والا اپنے خالق سے مخاطب ہے

A group of people from 7th century Arabia, are addressing God.

or

God is teaching a prayer to the group of people via Prophet sws.

- The latter interpretation seems more correct, as Qur'anic supplications often begin with "Say...". Therefore, it's logical to assume that the same meaning applies here, and the first word "say" is omitted.

- If you take the former assumption, you also have to believe that these people had insight into what we should not be like, which seems unlikely.

Notes From Session #14

  1. If a book has a universal message, that doesn't necessarily imply that the direct addressee is universal. The direct audience can be specific, whereas the message and morals behind it have universal value - Moiz Amjad
